North Shore Brass will lead the parade at the Takapuna ANZAC Day Service on Monday 25 April, commencing at 9am, followed immediately by an ANZAC Day memorial service at the war memorial on The Strand, Takapuna.

The Band will then head to the Glenfield RSA to play for their memorial service, where in 2015 members of the North Shore Brass Academy joined with senior band players for the first time.

“ANZAC Day is very special for all bandsmen,” says Musical Director Colin Clark. “Many of the bands who went to Gallipoli served alongside the soldiers as stretcher bearers and clerks. Sadly, many of them did not return.”
