
The North Shore Brass family will feature over 50 musicians from two bands this month in their annual Mother’s Day concert at the Spencer on Byron Hotel.
Songs For Your Mother will feature local baritone singer Arthur Close who will be crooning and sashaying to the audience accompanied by the highly talented North Shore Brass under Musical Director Colin Clark.
Clark has specially selected music from recent movies and shows that will have your toes tapping, in addition solos from Flugelhorn star Kate Wright will be just part of the offering from these highly talented musicians.
Further music celebrating our mothers can be heard from the rising talents of the North Shore Brass Academy Band whose members include a mix of students and adults including several mothers.
The Academy Band and North Shore Brass have provided free entertainment across many North Shore parks already this year to an estimated 8000 locals.
The audience will enjoy a cabaret style venue in the ball room at the Spencer on Byron Hotel with a cash bar and other highlights for the audience.
